Tofu Wontons with Yellow Curry Broth Vegetarian Dumplings

A tasty and comforting recipe for vegetarian dumplings with tofu-filled wontons served in a tasty yellow curry broth. This dish is a great choice for any occasion because it has a great mix of textures and tastes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup of extra-firm tofu, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup of finely chopped Napa cabbage
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sriracha sauce adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable broth
  • 1 can of coconut milk 13
  • 5 oz
  • 2 tablespoons of yellow curry paste
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions:

Put chopped Napa cabbage, crumbled tofu, minced garlic and ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha sauce in a bowl

To make the dumpling filling, mix it well

Put a teaspoon of the tofu and cabbage mixture in the middle of a wonton wrapper

Then, fold the wrapper in half diagonally to make a triangle

To seal the wonton, press the edges together

Do this again with the rest of the wrappers and filling

Put vegetable broth, coconut milk, and yellow curry paste in a large pot and mix them together

Heat it up over medium-low and stir in the curry paste until its all mixed in

Slice the carrot and red bell pepper and add them to the broth that is already simmering

They should be cooked for three to four minutes or until they start to get soft

Carefully add the tofu wontons to the broth that is already simmering

Cook for another 5 to 6 minutes, or until the wontons are soft and fully cooked

Put the tofu wontons in bowls and pour the yellow curry broth over them

Top with lime wedges, sliced green onions, and fresh cilantro leaves
